Remembering Finance Professor Kent Womack
I was saddened to learn that Kent Womack, an influential Finance Professor at the University of Toronto, passed away unexpectedly last month.
Kent’s research on sell-side recommendation performance inspired much of my own work on buy-side analyst recommendation performance. I also sat by Kent at the 2013 AFA conference in San Diego before I presented our Sumzero paper.
You can learn more about Kent here.
Rest in Peace!
